Deli Clerk

Lowes Foods began in 1954 as a single store in North Wilkesboro, NC, and has grown to become a major supermarket chain operating in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Responsibilities: Deli Clerks are responsible for servicing members at the deli counter. This includes slicing, weighing and wrapping all full-service deli items, replenishing and rotating deli items in both the full-service and the self-service cases. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Complying with sanitation and safety standards
• Maintaining deli slicing equipment
• Assisting members with courteous and friendly customer service

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Prior deli/meat experience
• Ability to work in refrigerated conditions
