Summary
The F35 Production Operations International Program Operations Engineer will support day to day Operations Integration & Project Engineering Team activities execution and tasks necessary to ensure; (1) technology transfer projects are captured and managed thru completion, (2) effective management of contract to Operations integration takes place ensuring personnel placement, span of support, and cost expectations are met, (3) Co-Producer as well as F35 IP Operations organization health and performance measurement process is executed, and (4) Operations earned value and risk assessment process is adhered to including reporting. This person will provide daily organizational direction recommendations to the F-35 IP Ops Operations Integration & Project Engineering Team Lead and IP Director as required.
Responsibilities
* facilitate issue resolution to Wing/FACO Production Operation technical challenges * proactively execute daily transfer of known and evolving Prod Ops technology to Co-Producer * provide SME input into Co-Producer training requirements * provide technical Ops SME support to TIM's and MRR's with Co-Producer in Fort Worth, at Co-Producer site, and/or remotely * provide SME support and appropriate Prod Op's data to risk management analysis process * ensure LM affordability initiatives are integrated with Co-Producer activities when appropriate * facilitate design change activity with the CO-Producer ensuring CR Schedule release and effectivity dates do not conflict with Prime Production Sched * enable processes, technologies, tools, etc. used in FW Production to be used with standard application at Co-Producer where appropriate * facilitate tool configuration changes and their integration into CO-Producer Production Line where appropriate
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * Experience in a production environment * Experience in F35 Wing Production or F35 Final Assembly and systems Checkout Production * Experience with project planning and execution * Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. **Desired skills** Proven communications skills with Customers and stakeholders, both internal and external
