Responsibilities
Selected candidate will be part of the System Integration and Test organization supporting Camden, NJ Aegis operations for the Combat System Integration Engineering group. Candidate will perform administrative, data entry, and technical tasks as directed by functional management and supervisory project engineering staff. The engineering aide will assist in the execution of technical assignments, final product preparation, and the administrative tasks required for delivery. The aide will perform database entry as well as assist with configuration management of multiple databases. Position may require infrequent travel to SI&T locations in Bath, ME; Washington D.C.; Norfolk, VA; Pascagoula, MS; San Diego, CA; and between LM campuses in Camden, NJ and Moorestown, NJ
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** High School diploma, with additional technical training sufficient enough to perform basic calculations, mechanical drafting work, computer operations, etc. Experience with MS Office tool suite, including technical document editing, and developing and maintaining databases. Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility for access to classified information at the Secret level. **Desired skills** Experience in reading and development of design drawings. Use of mechanical/electrical design tools. Knowledge of U.S. Navy ship equipment. Knowledge of specifications, procedures, and system operation. Ability to support meetings, and record minutes and action items. Experience with technical document editing utilizing MS Office tool suites, including developing and maintaining databases.
