Summary
Lithium is hiring a UX Product Designer to help shape and enhance the user experience of a software platform that reaches 500 million people worldwide through more than 300 of the world’s best brands. We’re looking for someone who loves to drive design from start to finish, and do it in a way that fosters trust and collaboration between UX, Product Management, and Engineering. This role is for someone who’s willing to teach, ready to learn, and able to produce killer work in a high- visibility role as a user advocate. Responsibilities
* Take end-to-end ownership of your product’s user experience * Help plan and execute a balance of tactical work against strategic vision * Evangelize and epitomize user-centered design practices * Articulate your design decisions with enthusiasm and pragmatism * Build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization * Collaborate with Product Management to identify problems and prioritize solutions * Empower engineering to participate in design decisions and build with confidence * Travel 5-10% to customers and prospects

* Empathy * Humility * Broad creative views * Persuasive, personable communication & presentation skills * Polished design skills in multiple UX disciplines including strategy, research, usability testing, interaction and visual design * Solid grasp of current—and not-so-current—states of design * Demonstrable past successes in web-based and mobile software * Self-directed, organized work ethic * Respectable knowledge of dev tools and practices * Expertise of Sketch, InVision and other prototyping tools * Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and some JavaScript * Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience
