Summary
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing Listrak's product positioning, messaging and competitive market analysis. This person should have expertise in product marketing including working with the product team and understanding how Listrak’s products are differentiated in the marketplace. This role will need experience in supporting the sales team in meeting revenue targets along with a basic understanding of product pricing. The Product Marketing Manager will execute new product launches and identify missing gaps in current product marketing. This role requires strong product marketing and communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
* Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Listrak’s products in the marketplace. * Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products. * Responsible for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities. * Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. * Gather market intelligence to be the expert on how the industry evaluates and purchases including their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them. * Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products – this should be in conjunction with the marketing team. * Lead Listrak’s product strategy function to drive 20% increase in new revenue by year end of 2017
Ideal Candidate
**Key Requirements:** * Demonstrated ability to merge technical ideas with business ideas into marketing strategy * Be a self-starter who can create high-impact ideas, prioritize activities and deliverables, manage multiple projects effectively and drive them to completion with a focus on producing measurable results. * Collaborate within and across groups at Listrak including executives, account management teams, sales team, marketing and support team to build alignment and execute complex projects. **Qualifications:** * BS/BA degree * 7 years’ experience in marketing/communications role * 5 years’ experience as a product marketing manager or as a product marketing professional * Proven ability to project manage at a high level * Experience working with and supporting sales professionals * Deadline driven, with ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines
