Associate Creative Director

The Associate Creative Director will partner with our Technology Director of Consumer Experiences in developing new digital experiences while evolving the ones we already have in place. Although we are a non-profit organization, we are a fast moving place with multiple projects on the go at all times. We are looking for a hands-on creative leader who is as comfortable with writing a strategy as you are mocking up a concept in Photoshop. The Associate Creative Director will be a good mentor for their team and an advocate for the importance of great design and experience across the company. This position will manage the UX/UI and visual design across all digital projects reporting to the Chief Digital Officer.

• Manage our internal Art Director, designers and Senior UI talent

• Concept and collaborate with different teams within Lincoln Center

• Work with the project management team; keep all creative on track with the highest level of quality

• Run brainstorms and ideation sessions

• Promote a culture of teamwork and innovation

• Oversee simultaneous projects from concept to completion

• Develop presentation and prototypes to demonstrate new strategies and products

• Work closely with our technology team and video development team

• Manage the internal creative team as well as freelancers and small agencies when needed

• Collaborate closely with the print team in coordinating design across different programs

• Mentor the careers of your direct reports

• Participate in recruiting good talent

• At least 3 years of experience managing a design team
• At least 6 years of professional digital design experience
• A brilliant portfolio with a mix of content and commerce experiences
• Strong leadership and people management skills Strong knowledge of design process and project management
• Ability to coordinate and negotiate across a variety of different types of groups
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
