Summary
The SEO Manager will be the day to day subject matter expert focused on monitoring and executing SEO initiatives and campaigns for growth for LifeLock’s identity theft protection business. This role will research, identify, plan and execute SEO priorities to improve SEO rankings across relevant keyword groups to improve organic traffic to the website and expand the organic presence competitively. This includes end to end execution of technical, optimization and content initiatives and projects in addition to providing and working with cross-functional teams on business requirements and solutions for technical improvements. Ongoing monitoring and meaningful analysis and reporting against deliverables and the program will be an instrumental part of the success of this role. This role will work cross-functionally with the following teams to optimize search to our web and mobile app properties: Web, Social, Creative, Corporate Communications, Consumer and Enterprise Marketing, Mobile App Marketing, and Product/Engineering.
Responsibilities
* Owns and monitors webmaster account for all Lifelock web properties. * Identifies opportunities through extensive keyword and competitive research writing specification documents and designing experiments to test new strategies and opportunities for growth. * Develop and execute on-page optimization plans prioritizing them in order of highest to lowest positive impact based on analytical projections. * Inform and optimize content publishing by providing targeted keywords, SEO meta tags and SEO best practices to improve relevance of pages and rank positions. * Provide guidance and recommendations on content topic generation through proven research or successful pilots and/or campaigns. * Provide keyword guidance and SEO meta tag recommendations working with user experience and web for new or redesigned pages. * Run regular occurring site audits to identify any opportunities or issues and provide best course of action to tackle the open items. * Work directly with Technology cross-functional teams to implement SEO initiatives and project by providing SEO technical best practices, implementation guidance and prescriptive html code. * Optimize internal linking structures to maximize rankings across Lifelock’s keyword portfolio. * Run and audit backlink analysis regularly in order to maintain a healthy backlink profile. * Assess and drive end to end targeted content outreach campaigns working with content and correct teams to improve page and domain authority. * Manage day to day relations, expectations and deliverables of external vendors/agencies. * Forecast and report day to day and monthly program performance providing reports and analysis accordingly. * Analyzing project and campaign results and pushing forward next steps at a rigorous pace. * Assess and understand the market’s needs related to Search, and communicating them to various internal and external stakeholders. * Stay ahead in the industry with new trends and algorithm updates to keep Lifelock properties modern providing the steps to improve the site and prioritizing based on projected revenue impact and level of effort.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of experience in SEO with a demonstrable ability to manage and implement SEO best practices * Bachelor's Degree * Solid understanding of HTML, Java script, Flash & CSS * Ability to coordinate cross functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing individuals across the organization * Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
