Shipping / Warehouse Team Lead (3rd Shift) - Packaging Industry

Liberty Diversified International is comprised of seven companies competing in several core markets, and is one of the largest privately held companies in the Midwest.

As a **Shipping/Warehouse Team Lead (3rd Shift)** with **Liberty Carton Company** you will be part of a 3-person team inside our box plant responsible for timely and quality completion of the 3rd-shift shipments to our customers. This position brings a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills as you oversee the work and provide general direction, coaching and feedback of two team members.

* Carefully track orders and ensure appropriate levels of supply inventories, and as shifts transition, you will communicate and address any issues pertaining to schedule, priorities and incidents between shifts. * Provide employee work direction/feedback and ensure compliance with schedules, policy, procedures, and customer requirements. * Manage internal and external relationships in a professional manner. * Operate a forklift to facilitate the shipping process and ensure good operating condition of equipment (trucks, trailers, etc.). * **Work Sunday through Thursday from (10:00 pm - 6:00 am)** with flexibility in weekend & shift required. * You Will Excel In This Role If: * **You understand shipping.** You’re comfortable routing trucks, scanning orders, monitoring inventory controls, managing schedules and processes, and maintaining equipment. * **You’re detail oriented & good with documentation.** You can accurately process paperwork/orders enter accurate data within a business software system. * **You’re a natural problem solver.** If an issue arises, you’re quick on your feet and work closely with others to devise a solution.

* HS Diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of 2-3 years related experience in a shipping, logistics and or warehouse function involving familiarity with facility, machinery, equipment, and processes. Preferably within a manufacturing setting. * Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements; specifically DOT regulations. * Comfortable and working knowledge of office systems software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) * Ability to comply with GMP, Safety, OSHA and all company policies and procedures.
