Summary
The Product Technical Lead provides technology leadership and support for Dynamics AX and other assigned enterprise application product(s). Possesses advanced skills in product setup and configuration and is responsible for product architecture. Demonstrates advanced product functional knowledge and has the ability to apply that knowledge to solving complex business problems. Ensures optimal product performance by establishing maintenance and support plans. Close partnership and strong communications with internal stakeholders and vendors is expected. Must support IT policies and/or IT Sox controls as it relates to change management, security, and data. Works on multiple projects at the same time or multiple tasks on a large project; some project management will be expected.
Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert in implementing, supporting, and maintaining assigned product(s) as well as setup and configuration - Demonstrates Libbey business knowledge for product functional areas - Utilize product knowledge to design business solutions for stakeholders of assigned areas - Works with the Supervisor, Enterprise Products, as well as internal and external stakeholders on major projects such as product upgrades - Provide technical and user training, as needed, and create technical and user documentation as needed - Train and support the Helpdesk and other Technical Support Team members regarding application-related topics - Monitor product response time and tune as required to meet business SLAs - Understand product infrastructure needs and assist with resolving connectivity issues due to firewall, IIS, proxy, OS, etc - Ensure product compliance with licensing, warranty, and registration restrictions with infrastructure devices, operating systems, applications and services - Support change including any procedures in support of IT policies and/or IT Sox controls as defined by the Manager, Global IT Governance, internal Libbey Audit and/or Sox - Travel for project work, training or other business related purposes may be required including possible International travel
Ideal Candidate
**Education Requirements:** - Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems preferred or equivalent experience - Any Microsoft Certifications are a plus - Microsoft Certifications are desirable **Experience Required:** - 5+ years' experience in implementing and administrating Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 preferred) - Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX security functions and processes - Use of model store and XPO for code migration between environments. - Experience configuring and troubleshooting AX workflows - Experience with configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting AX batch process issues - Installing hot fixes and deploying modifications - Experienced in using AOT and other built-in tools within AX for use in troubleshooting - Working knowledge of AX environment and interaction between the components (database, AOS, EP, SSRS, etc.) - Working knowledge of Management Reporter and underlying components - Knowledge of AX 2012 Expense, Financial (AR, AP, GL) and Project Management modules - SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills (including SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS)
