Summary
The 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor will provide daily direction to hourly workforce in order to safely meet daily demands.
Responsibilities
* Partner with Libbey internal groups to meet/surpass their expectations * Create and execute continuous improvement projects and cost saving projects * Lead and motivate the hourly work force through communication, teaching and development * Ensure and maintain a safe work environment * Keep maintenance records as well as other administration duties * Process material for work to be accomplished includes working with vendors, quoting, etc * Partner with various outside contractors as needed * Identify quick response needs and exercise good judgments in ensuring plant needs are met
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred * 2-3 years of relevant experience including leadership and mechanical background * Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to effectively guide and lead hourly workforce * Interact with all levels of the organization * Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment * Ability to handle multiple priorities and multitask effectively * Consistently exhibit Libbey Values in all interactions with Libbey associates * Strong interpersonal skills: communication, facilitation, coaching, consulting, influencing change **Requirements** * Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to effectively guide and lead hourly workforce * Interact with all levels of the organization * Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment * Ability to handle multiple priorities and multitask effectively * Consistently exhibit Libbey Values in all interactions with Libbey associates * Strong interpersonal skills: communication, facilitation, coaching, consulting, influencing change * Associate’s degree in Business or related field **Physical Demands and Work Environment** * Must be willing to work 3rd shift * Subject to hot, cold, dusty environments * Safety glasses and hearing protection required * Manufacturing environment with high noise level
