Senior Financial Analyst

LevelUp helps merchants own the shift to mobile by powering mobile-payment optimized loyalty programs, enabling their customers pay for their purchase and accrue/redeem rewards with a single scan or tap. LevelUp's analytics platform helps merchants better understand their customers and deliver the right campaigns to the right customers to drive revenue and increase customer happiness. LevelUp is currently used by over 14,000 merchant locations and 4 million users.

As a member of the finance team, you know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. Your position starts with recurring monthly accounting and reporting activities but with a consistent focus on ways to drive better decisions through actionable information. For you “Closing the books” enables a deeper understanding of the business and you continually look for opportunities to leverage this to improve our processes. You're the savvy accountant who understands the business and can proactively communicate what is needed. A team player at heart, you collaborate cross-functionally, evangelize best practices, move fast while keeping attention to detail, and flex your problem-solving muscle to support LevelUp's business needs.

* Assume significant responsibility around month end closing activities, including reconciliation preparations for various accounts/processes and journal entries * Lead reporting initiatives to better highlight performance in key areas across the organization * Support international expansion * Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments to understand business processes and Ad hoc projects as requested (e.g. funding, stock, pricing) * Initiate and lead projects that are focused on improving efficiencies across the organization
