Processing Line Attendant

The Line Attendant loads cheese onto a moving conveyor, folds bags, processes rework and performs general housekeeping duties.

* Load ribbon stacks of cheese onto a moving conveyor. * Inspect blocks of cheese for softness and extraneous. * Blend cheese as required. * Fold bags into boxes. * Monitor quality of boxes before running through the tape machine. * Add back cheese through the rework auger. * Identify quality concerns. * Maintain good housekeeping at all times, including cleaning empty tubs and weighing scrap. * Observe proper safety policies and procedures at all times.

**Education and Experience:** * High School Diploma or GED * 6 Months of previous manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:** * Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions. * Must be able to read and write to understand standard operating procedures. * Must be able to communicate well within the department. * Must be willing to support a 24/7 operation by being available to work weekends and holidays. * The position requires standing, walking, climbing up steps, and lifting up to 45 pounds frequently.
