* Serve as the plant's focal point for evaluation, procurement, implementation, training, and support of computer-based technologies including hardware and software used on personal computers, servers, and the underlying network infrastructure and telecommunications systems. * Be involved in projects with a significantly high degree of complexity requiring an overall understanding of business functions and application of information technology in achieving company goals.

* Five years in information systems; four of which have been working with microcomputer-based technologies including hardware and software used on personal computers and local area networks (LANs). * Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems. * Basic understanding of employee timekeeping systems (such as Kronos) and database management systems including SQL Server. * Basic to Intermediate knowledge of plant controls systems including PLC's and industrial automation software such as Wonderware. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of network management including structured cabling, routers, switches, performance management, DNS, and DHCP. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of other commonly installed "client" software including GroupWise, SAP, VNC, and Sophos virus protection. * Basic to intermediate understanding of telephone and voice mail system administration, as well as cell phones, fax, call accounting systems, and overhead paging. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of the communications network for the Square D Power Logic energy management system. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of the Security Camera System (Vivotek and Pelco).
