Responsibilities
* Test: Design and implement test processes for Lending Club’s platform functionality. Test system operations and modifications to maximize efficiency and delivery. Develop programs and applications to test for database and system-wide efficiency and errors. * Mentor: Manage Quality Assurance team on projects, including coordinating team efforts and mentoring team members. Track direct reports’ performance, create development tracks to encourage improvement, and lead trainings as necessary. * Validate: Validate new features and services, verify updates and enhancements, and certify production releases. Document test results to identify errors, bugs, and defects. Review software documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, followed by seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a computer-related occupation. * Minimum 7 years of experience in software Quality Assurance, including the complete Quality Assurance process; * Minimum 7 years of experience using J2EE; * Minimum 7 years of experience in web-based software application engineering, analysis, and testing, including web services, API, and server testing; * Technical experience in testing financial applications; * RDBMS, including Oracle; * SQL analysis and debugging; * Test automation using JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Jenkins, and jMeter; * Web load testing and stress testing methodology and tools; * Deploying, configuring, monitoring and testing complex multi-tier applications on Linux/Unix platforms; * Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
