Sr. Information Assurance Engineer

Leidos holdings isa leading provider of scientific, engineering, systems integration and technical services and solutions to all branches of the U.S. military, agencies of the U.S. Department of Defense, the intelligence community, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other U.S. Government civil agencies, as well as to customers in selected commercial markets.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Provide integration support of information protection requirements into information systems acquisition and development. - Implement security controls through software engineering methodologies, security engineering principles, and secure coding techniques. - Participate in system engineering discussions to enhance network security. - Provide system certification and accreditation support. - Support investigations and minimization of real or potential damage resulting from security incidents. - Research, analyze, integrate, and distribute IS security tools and associated documentation, with government approval. - On-site integration support for IS security tools into Contractor and Government systems. - Develop security procedures for systems and software. - Ensure consistent implementation of security policy for government review and approval. - Provide Design and configuration support.

**Qualifications:** **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR high school diploma/GED with 15+ years of relevant experience. - Currently possess Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or CISSP Associate AND Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) or the Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) Certification. - Currently possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
