Production Supervisor

Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Production Supervisor for its aggregates location in Savannah, Georgia.

* Ensure the efficient operation of processing equipment. * Manage and assist with daily operations, including unloading of railcars; stockpiling material; loading customer trucks; scale house operations; quality control testing; etc. * Supervise and assist the workforce and contractors to maximize the production capability. * Maximize production of a quality product within company and plant specifications, goals, and objectives. * Supervise personnel and equipment to minimize plant costs. * Manage personnel and processes to insure compliance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations, as well as compliance with internal Lehigh Hanson practices. * Will operate scale and/or load customer trucks as needed.

* College degree preferred, but not required. * 2-5 years experience in aggregates. * Experience with heavy equipment operations * Effective supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills. * Proficient PC skills, with experience in Microsoft Office, and Outlook. * Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
