Electrician

A journeyman electrician is required to perform preventative maintenance and repair work on all site electrical equipment, in addition to safety troubleshooting, and assisting with capital projects. Familiarity with testing procedures of electrical equipment and providing technical support for control systems is required. The successful candidate will have a proven safety record and history of being a team player and be able to make decisions and work without direct supervision.

* Maintain, repair, install and test a variety of electrical components, circuits and equipment, as well as large motors, switch gear and high and low voltage equipment * Analyze problems and develop effective solutions * Able to work flexible shift hours * 8 to 12 hour shifts to support operations * Perform tasks with accuracy as assigned * Work in high areas * Troubleshoot Plc’s * Occasional welding * Test equipment and tools for electrical maintenance

* Microsoft Excel experience preferred * Familiarity with SAP maintenance program preferred * Electrical certificate preferred * Minimum of 2 years work experience in the cement / aggregate industry preferred
