Leggett & Platt, Inc. is seeking a Staff Vice President to oversee the Creative Services department – our internal marketing agency. You’ll lead a team of creative professionals in managing integrated campaigns that include strategy development, copywriting, design, advertising, web, social media, video, photography, trade-shows, and direct marketing. You are a strategic thinker who can translate, articulate, and guide marketing objectives into fresh, award-winning ideas. You foster an environment of collaboration and creativity, while maintaining professionalism.
At Creative Services, we may be part of a corporation, but we’re not corporate. We’re housed in a building away from the corner offices and function as an independent, medium-sized agency. Your experience here is sure to be well-rounded, not only in the type of marketing/advertising projects, but also in the kind of people you’ll be working alongside.
- Manage, guide, and mentor the Creative Services staff
- Work closely with internal clients, external clients, and corporate departments to develop needed marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches
- Maintain and improve processes to manage workflow of printed and digital materials from concept to completion
- Hands-on direction of strategy, copy, and design of all marketing tactics including tradeshow space, websites, and online advertising
- Develop and maintain relationships with various external vendors, studios, and freelancers that deliver creative excellence and enhance the value of our work
- Act as a brand champion and maintain brand standards while exploring and evolving the voice/look/feel
- Serve as the primary educational resource to the company in areas of new and innovative creative work including marketing technologies, techniques, or trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Design and/or Copy, Advertising, Web Development, Communications, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in an advertising or marketing firm
- 10+ years of management experience in a creative environment
- Outstanding organization and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and fulfill client requests within a budget
