Sales Representative

Leggett & Platt, Inc., an S&P 500 company, is seeking a driven regional Sales Representative in our Bedding division. This exceptionally stable sales position will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and sales of bedding related components for a territory including North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin and Iowa and will be based out of our St. Paul, MN facility.

* Develop long-term relationships with existing and potential customers and deliver superior customer service * Increase revenue by cultivating relationships with customers and driving sales goals * Manage territory accounts (sales calls, new product introductions and monitoring product quality) * Collaboration with management on sales strategies and pricing proposals

* Bachelor’s degree in a business-oriented discipline * 1-2 years of experience in Sales, with knowledge of the Bedding Industry considered as an added advantage * An understanding of manufacturing processes and customer/supplier relationship principles **Requirements** * Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with a wide range of people * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) * Proficient in basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office suite * Strong mathematical, analytical, and business skills * Demonstrated ability to meet and increase sales goals Up to 40% overnight travel required
