Purchasing Operations Analyst

Leggett & Platt is seeking a Purchasing Operations Analyst to join our purchasing team in Carthage, MO. This is an excellent opportunity to support the implementation of large-scale supply agreements in a global organization. You don’t need to be a purchasing expert to apply. We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills and the ability to learn the day-to-day operations of our supplier programs.

* Collect and analyze appropriate data, including building data visualization in Excel * Participate in commodity teams during the sourcing process * Communicate with purchasing agents across the company * Implement national/regional supply agreement * Administrative support as needed

* Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline * Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment * Able to work independently and as a member of a team * Capable of initiating and monitoring projects with limited supervision * Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office * SharePoint and SQL experience a plus
