Purchasing Operations Analyst

Leggett & Platt is seeking a Purchasing Operations Analyst to join our purchasing team in Carthage, MO. This is an excellent opportunity to support the implementation of large-scale supply agreements in a global organization. You don’t need to be a purchasing expert to apply. We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills and the ability to learn the day-to-day operations of our supplier programs.

• Collect and analyze appropriate data, including building data visualization in Excel
• Participate in commodity teams during the sourcing process
• Communicate with purchasing agents across the company
• Implement national/regional supply agreement
• Administrative support as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline
• Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Capable of initiating and monitoring projects with limited supervision
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• SharePoint and SQL experience a plus
