Manufacturing Process Engineer

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for our Talbot Industries branch in Neosho, MO. This vital role is responsible for development and improvement of the manufacturing process and would also supervise all aspects of our Tool & Jig operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in improving the manufacturing process and establishing manufacturing best practices. Experience in Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC principles is highly preferred.

* Responsible for the supervision for all Tool & Jig operations. * Responsible for developing and improving manufacturing process. * Responsible for leading DMAIC projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record for working collaboratively with multiple departments and/or groups as well as demonstrated leadership skills. * High school diploma or GED * Experience in a tool & die / maintenance / manufacturing / job shop environment * Experience in creating jigs and fixtures * Experience in using DMAIC principles
