Senior Network Engineer

* Designing and supporting LegalZoom network infrastructure for high-availability and security, planning and executing multiple projects, and supporting 24/7/365 site operations. * Provide network services support at an advanced level to users and provide group design and product recommendations, evaluations, configurations, etc. * Ability to lead the resolution of client business network problems through research, network installation and customization, network administration and network management support. * Responsible for implementing and maintaining all aspects of the network infrastructure (i.e. Racking/LAN/WAN/WLAN/VoIP/VPN/Network Security) for multiple office and co-location sites * Provide 24/7 on-call (on a rotation) operational level support for all aspects of the network. * Conduct Proof of Concepts for emerging technologies and present recommendations to design team and management. * Participate in multi-discipline design teams to provide solutions and capacity planning of equipment and network. * Candidate should have a very strong background in Security (ASA, IPS, overall edge security). * Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, installation, documentation and administration of all telecommunication and network systems. * Serve as lead technical troubleshooter on complex data and voice network problems including working with vendors of related equipment and services. * Maintain network health monitoring and notification tools. * Maintain telecommunication and data circuits/vendors (PRIs, T1, Private Lines, POTS, DS3, MPLS, etc.). * Maintain network infrastructure hardware including ongoing software/firmware patches or upgrades, and bandwidth analysis. * Document network architecture and topology. * Support end users as required to provide a positive customer experience. * Assist with other IT related special projects as determined by business need. * Develop and implement policies and procedures relative to telecommunication, data network and Internet security. * Coordinate with peer and contract-consulting staff to achieve project deliverables and time lines. * Proactively identify ongoing cost optimization, performance enhancement, and growth strategies.

* 7+ years of industry pure or Cisco networking experience. * 4 year college degree is required (IT degree not required, but it must be a college degree) * CCNA required. CCNP or higher preferred. * Expert-level experience in the Cisco LAN/WAN and Routing side. * Technical proficiency in LAN, WAN, NW Management and Security. * Routing protocols BGP, OSPF * Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst models 3750, 3850, 6500 Series * Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus models 2232, 5548, 7009, 7710 * Advanced knowledge in Cisco Security solutions including ASA, IPS, Sourcefire, VPN * Advanced knowledge with Cisco IOS and NX-OS * Juniper MAG Security products including SSLVPN, UAC experience is a plus * Knowledge of WAN acceleration technology including Riverbed * Websense URL filtering knowledge is a plus * Linux administration skills is a plus * Knowledge of F5 LTM and GTM * Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Windows environments. * Ability to handle several projects simultaneously. * Excellent team player with ability to coordinate and cooperate with others. * Experienced network engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys multitasking, and is able to work independently or as part of a project team. * Provide research, recommendations and solutions for redundancy, availability, scalability, and performance improvement.
