Summary
We are looking for an exceptional Product Marketer to join the Product team at Leanplum. You will be responsible for competitive intelligence and market research. You will also provide support for the go-to-market strategy for all products and features.
Responsibilities
**Research:** You will conduct product teardowns to evaluate competitive platforms and help create inbound marketing emails, landing pages and sales collateral leveraging your findings. You will also conduct customer research, incl. win/loss interviews, to understand customer needs and pain points and identify product gaps and other areas of improvement. **Messaging:** You will leverage your industry insights to support development of the positioning strategies for new products and features. You will work with Director of Product Marketing to create simple, concrete and differentiated messaging. Finally, you will develop sales training and content (incl. onesheets, whitepapers, presentations, blog posts and research papers) to enable customer facing teams to communicate our value proposition effectively. **Go-to-market execution:** You will collaborate with product, marketing and customer success teams to bring new products to market and ensure their wide adoption.
Ideal Candidate
**What you bring:** * You have strong technical background. You can develop simple iOS and/or Android apps and integrate competitive SDKs. You know SQL and can run your own queries to retrieve and analyze key product usage data. * You have the ability to simplify complex technical issues and explain them in a concrete, memorable language. * You can think out of the box and find novel, surprising ways to engage audience with your content. * You have a strong interest in becoming the product expert and bringing the voice of the customer to the product development and launch process. **Qualifications:** * 2+ years of product marketing/management experience. * A bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, economics, math, statistics or relevant field. MBA strongly preferred. * A portfolio of marketing materials that showcases your ability to explain value proposition of a product in a concrete, memorable language. * Successful track record of launching software products.
