(New York, New York)Our team of passionate, make-it-happen people take a full-service approach to integrated experiential marketing, providing services including campaign conception and activation, partnership negotiation, design and branding, strategic communications, brand promotions, digital and social media strategy and production.
The Creative Director leads the creative process by nurturing the Creative Team, generating innovative ideas and engaging clients and consumers through effective and skillful concept development, and acting as a senior voice within the company overall. He/She works with the account, strategy, production and creative teams to ensure the delivery of superior creative solutions that bring the brand to life and drive client results. We are looking for someone who is an expert in working on iconic brands, helping to shape and craft their campaigns and experiences. The Creative Director will lead the team, teaching and empowering the designers in creating the thematic direction, overarching visual look-and-feel, and every element of a campaign or experiential design.
Creative Strategy
- Work with Account Directors, Strategists, Clients and Creative teams to develop the creative strategy for large events and experiences
- Oversee the development of a ideas and cisual look and feel for events and campaigns, and consult in the creation of overarching experience designs that delivers against the strategic vision
- Express the creative strategy and vision throughout the event and the programmatic elements—including videos, installations, signage and branding, activations, communications and staging
- Work alongside the Account and Strategy Directors to develop and support the vision of client deliverables and effectively communicate that vision to colleagues and clients by skillfully crafting content.
- Understand the clients' business objectives and how those objectives relate to the target audience, while staying in tune to business issues
Flawless Creative Execution
- Consult and oversee 2D and 3D Designers, Copywriters, Art Directors, ACDs, Animators and Filmmakers to ensure on-brand design, accurate messaging and adherence to brand standards
- Work closely with Account Director and Creative Services Manager to oversee workflow process from planning to creative to execution
- Participate in regular senior management and additional team meetings and support communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met Creative Team Leadership
- Foster a culture and environment that is conducive to creative development by making creative sessions a place where all participants are heard and respected, resulting in superior creative solutions
- Understand, utilize, and facilitate productive creative development
- Stay abreast of cultural events and trends that affect our clients’ audiences
- Network within the industry to share ideas, knowledge and resources
- Serve as a mentor to creative team members to ensure that they are exposed to new opportunities to help them grow in their career
- Serve as a trusted advisor and creative partner to key senior management and senior clients
Client Management/Business Development
- Generate ideas that excite clients and expand their perceptions of what LeadDog can do to help them drive results
- Understand the clients’ business objectives and how those objectives relate to the target audience, while staying in tune with larger industry trends and climates to assist in generating creative ideas
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MA preferred but not required
- At least 10-12 years of creative experience in an agency or marketing environment
- Superior writing skills with proven experience with message development and writing in different mediums (i.e. powerpoint, speeches, video, proposals, etc.)
- Excellent creative and artistic presentation skills
- Effective team-building skills
- Strong in depth knowledge of brand positioning and industry trends; strong understanding of how projects fit into the client's business and brand position
- Strong understanding of technology and technology trends
- Must possess excellent time management skills and have a sense of urgency; proven ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
- Demonstrated creative competencies: client focus, accountability for results, organizational sophistication, ingenuity and communicating ideas
