Summary
The Salesforce Administrator and Developer works on projects to deliver detailed, accurate, high-quality analysis and solutions to internal team leaders and external partners. Through reporting and continual improvements through Salesforce, this position will drive business decisions related to process and efficiency. This person suggests process updates and changes. This person promotes the company’s core values, vision and mission.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the administrator and lead developer for a Salesforce instance of 50+ users. - Collaborate with project team members and key client stakeholders to scope and execute projects. - Translate business requirements to automated, streamlined solutions in Salesforce - Design applications and interfaces that maximize user and third-party productivity within Salesforce - Manage data and analytics to track key Sales and Service Cloud metrics - Ensure data integrity and accuracy - Document and prepare documentation of requirements and design documents and configuration - Maintain workbooks, test cases and other documentation during the life of the project - Meet project milestones and deadlines - Communicate project progress to team leader and company executives - Consult with business associates and partners to identify correct processes and to deliver business objectives - Maintain all project installs up to company standards - Support and maintain all data management, including dashboards, reports, custom objects, fields and objects within Salesforce - Troubleshoot issues related to data collection, data analysis and third-party integrations - Create and maintain user, profile and role permissions - Provide end-user support - Educate users on best practices for Salesforce **Additional responsibilities:** - Help train users on Salesforce -Administer, update and change Salesforce based on business needs - Foster a culture of Salesforce acceptance - Promote data-driven processes - Promote a culture of work hard, play hard and transparency
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree - Salesforce Platform Developer I certification and Salesforce Administrator certification - 1-2 years’ experience as a Salesforce administrator - 1+ year experience as a Salesforce developer writing APEX - A logical, process-oriented thinker - Enjoys helping others - Is OK with being empowered - Familiarity with marketing and the sales process - Strong communicator - Has a natural curiosity about technology - Strategic, long-term thinker - Project management experience - Self-Starter. Able to be productive with or without team support. **Bonus Qualification:** - Experience with a digital marketing agency - Someone who likes to work hard and play hard Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification - Salesforce Platform Developer II certification - Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant certification - Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification - Salesforce Technical Architect certification
