Summary
This position requires the individual to work in several different payroll related systems, including KERMIT, The Work Number and ExpressHR. The main functions will include validating Kroger's previous experience credits, processing PED events in MSS and document auditing. This individual will be responsible for retrieving documents, calculating pay rates and adjusting associate profiles accordingly in order to ensure compensation for associates is processed appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve documents from the ExpressHR E-mail boxes, as well as online document source, for previous experience credits and PED's. - Populate spreadsheets with pertinent information for previous experience credit calculations. - Verify employment via "The Work Number". - Validate information in Kermit. - Calculate new rate of pay, based off of experience. - Send spreadsheets to division Labor Managers for approval. - Process MSS events to change associates rate of pay. - Calculate retro pay and prepare spreadsheets to be sent to payroll. - Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Position Qualifications:** - Personal computer experience, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. - Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management, including division and store associates. - Must be able to preserve confidentiality of information. - Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks. - Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. - Self-motivated and able to perform job responsibilities with a minimum of supervision. - Ability to work well with others as part of a team. - Ability to meet strict deadlines. - Physical ability to access all necessary files. **Desired Previous Job Experience/Qualifications:** * Knowledge of union contracts helpful.
