Client Services Associate - Chinese Fluent

Knewton is the world’s most powerful adaptive learning engine. Knewton figures out what each student knows and how each student learns best, to pinpoint the type of content, level of difficulty, and which media format each student needs. Its technology can take any free open content, algorithmically calibrate it, and bundle it into a uniquely personalized lesson for each student at any moment.

This is a nightshift client services position providing support to our partners and customers in China from Sunday through Thursday from 8pm-5am Eastern Time. This work can be performed from anywhere in the United States including our headquarters in New York City. This is a 6 month assignment that may be extended or converted to full-time employment in the future.

**Goals & Responsibilities** * Serve as the key point of contact and communication with customers in both English and Chinese * Answer client inquiries via email, live chat and phone * Provide exceptional customer service in a personable, friendly manner * Escalate and manage issues to the technical team * Become an expert on Knewton-powered products * Drive improvement of Knewton’s products based on user feedback * Improve efficiencies of Client Services over time **Specific Job Duties** * Provide the community with the materials and resources they need to effectively use Knewton products * Collect and share feedback from the community to assist with product development and research * Work with Production Support team to escalate and resolve technical issues * Create and manage user accounts and courses

* Possess an amiable and empathetic attitude * Ability to quickly learn and apply subject matter taught in training * Proficiency with Mac operating system and Google tools * Ability to work in a team oriented, fast changing environment * Self-motivated, determined, and able to work independently and autonomously when needed * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Detail oriented with demonstrated high level of organization and multitasking skills * This is a 6 month temporary position that may be extended or convert to full time employment in the future
