Programmer Analyst II

* Develop new and maintain existing information technology solutions and reports * Participates in full development life cycle including defining requirements, writing and configuring code, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting technology solutions * Assigned to moderately difficult Information Services applications and is expected to know and apply the fundamental concepts and practices involved in information system development and deployment * Assigned to work that is varied in nature and may contain a high level of difficulty * Will be a member of the Cerner CCL Reporting team and will require experience with CCL or SQL

* Requires Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent experience * Requires experience with one or more programming languages, including but not limited to: SQL, CCL (Cerner Command Language), HTML, CSS, XML, TCL, or JavaScript * Requires ability to comprehend complex technical and logic flows * Requires excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Requires ability to read and comprehend written instructions and procedures * Requires ability to communicate clearly and concisely through written and verbal communications * Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member * Requires ability to track and perform multiple tasks * Requires strong customer service skills * Requires ability to work independently * Prefers strong CCL experience * Prefers web-based technology experience (browsers, CSS, XML, XHTML, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and AJAX) * Prefers experience in development of HL7interfaces * Prefers experience with relational database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle)
