Business Objects Report Builder / Data Analyst

Kforce has a fortune 500 client that is seeking a Business Objects Report Builder / Data Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin (WI) for a short term 3 month contract. The need for this resource is due to a new way to count production means so the client needs to quickly recreate Business Objects reports.This role requires strong reporting building, data analysis and team work.

• This position assists with the data mining and reporting and is responsible for understanding business objectives and processes and delivering available data and reports.
• This role provides quality data and reports primarily using Business Objects to support sales performance analysis.
• It involves analysis and addressing data quality issues, testing and analyzing impact of system changes to data / reporting infrastructure, and improves efficiency through automation.

• Strong Business Objects Universe reporting building experience
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Business Objects Dashboard Development
• Basic knowledge and understanding of data analysis and statistical methods (special consideration for insurance product performance experience)
• Demonstrated experience with databases, reporting tools and methods including experience with SAS (i.e. SAS Macros, SAS ODS) is a plus
• Business acumen with special consideration for insurance product performance experience
• Strong Excel experience
• Ability to work independently
• Strong self-starter with good work ethic
• Team player who works well with others
