Kforce has a client in Tempe, Arizona (AZ) that is seeking a Financial Services Representative.
- Participate in management meetings and provide support, as directed, to team and management staff
- Manage an assigned portfolio of client AR
- Mail / fax system generated form letters to clients to encourage payment of delinquent accounts
- Contact delinquent accounts by phone, fax or email
- Confer with clients by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service or credit contract
- Work with other departments at Insight to resolve issues that may be preventing payment of the invoice(s) by the client
- Keep detailed record/status of their ongoing collection efforts
- Receive payment information from clients and record amounts promised to be paid into client's account
- Notify Sales Rep if they experience any difficulties in contacting the client or securing payment on the past due amounts
- Update Collections Management with status reports on top delinquent accounts
- After consultation with their manager, order service interruption/credit hold on future orders
- After consultation with their manager, processes Legal, Third Party Collections and Bankruptcy paperwork and submit to their manager
- Develop rapport with client AP contacts and respective sales teams
- This Representative's portfolio is primarily made up of larger clients; these clients require a more experienced collector who can perform their daily tasks with minimal supervision; resolution to issues is generally more complex and requires good problem solving skills
- Must be able to complete assigned tasks in a specified time frame
- Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and fellow Insight teammates
- High School diploma GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two to five years of previous collections experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess basic knowledge of Collection laws and procedures
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/ professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations
- Ability to write basic reports and business correspondence
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
