Summary
Work as a web developer as part of a team which utilizes a diverse dynamic workforce, including many experts in their fields.
Responsibilities
* Experience coding websites using HTML, CSS, Visual Basic, and other web-based programming languages * Responsible for maintaining a functioning user-accessible website * Support website planning and deployment * Write documentation regarding the website's technical requirements * Apply concepts, develop, test, maintain and support high-performance, innovative web¬ based applications * Responsible for troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologies * Work with management and information technologists to determine specifications * Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades
Ideal Candidate
* Four (4) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. * Experience with a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks) and object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-¬business applications * Working knowledge of SharePoint 2013, ColdFusion, PHP, and Flash * Knowledge of NSA’s SIGINT mission systems **Degree:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. **Clearance:** * Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
