Responsibilities
* Manages and coordinates the activities of the contractors to ensure successful project execution. * Manages process, packaging and facility Capital projects from a technical, financial and manpower perspective. * Creates project estimates for initial project consideration. * Leads the bid process for final capital submission. * Leads project meetings for design and project reviews. * Creates and publishes schedules. * Directs the installation, commissioning, qualification and verification for regional engineering capital projects. * Manages teams to initiate and execute projects. * Strong written and verbal skills required to communicate with contractors, plant personnel, peers and upper management. * Actively contributes to prioritize the actions of project management * Directly participates in the design, development and inspection of engineering projects or the engineering work of the department. * Prioritizes and leads projects with an added value for the plant in line with methodological principles * Ensure all engineering related works align with corporate engineering standards including sanitary design, ergonomics, employee safety and food safety requirements. * Initiates cost savings measures. * Ensure all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded. * Other duties assign by management
Ideal Candidate
* Engineering Degree from a 4 year accredited college/university and a minimum of 10-15 years’ experience. * Travel up to 40% * Experience successfully managing capital projects in excess of $10MM. * Background in food or beverage processing environment. * Project management * Drive and lead change * Team leadership * Analytical capacity * Demonstrates strength, determination and flexibility * Achieve results efficiently
