Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Keepsafe you’ll empower millions of people who use our apps daily. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact immediately. You’ll work autonomously and design and own a significant part of our codebase. You will be working at the forefront of security, smart encryption, key management, data transcoding, secure and fast cloud sync, and back-end custom analytics development for the future.

* Collaborate directly with our product and design teams * Develop core pieces of infrastructure * Continuously find ways to optimize and scale

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 5+ years of professional programming experience and deep knowledge in one or more programming language * Deep knowledge in Python3 * Experience with AWS - especially EC2, DynamoDB * Experience shipping production code and building well-designed APIs * Experience with distributed systems * Comfortable with Keepsafe's web stack * Comfortable with mobile app development **Bonus** * Startup experience preferred * Experience using Keepsafe a plus! * Passionate about the Keepsafe mission
