Applications Engineer

- Customer site deployments, migrations and tear downs - Site migration requirements gathering API / SSO integration and support - Bug / crash analysis - Tier 2 customer support - Implementation of internal business applications (e.g. reporting) - Progressively become customer facing expert on Kavi application domain knowledge - Communicate weekly status on all activities and initiatives

- Deep troublshooting skills on LAMP / SOA stack - Excellent communication skills - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mail servers and mail list management applications - Experience with one or more reporting platforms, e.g. Perl, Crystal Reports, WebFocus, JasperReports - Experience with one or more RDBMS, MySql, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL - Working understanding of TCP/IP networks and protocols (e.g. ISO OSI model) - Ability to execute and troubleshoot site migration procedure - Competence in database management: backups, recovery, troubleshooting - Participation in on-call rotation providing 7x24 production support - Ability to pass a background check or obtain a security clearance Beneficial Qualifications - 2 years UNIX and/or Linux experience in a 7x24 environment - Familiarity with high availability platforms - Experience coding and testing LAMP stack applications - Python experience a plus - ITIL certification - COSO framework experience - Experience in HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, agile development, cluster computing
