Technical Writer

Kargo is looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of users working in the Kargo platform. You will work with a team of talented marketers, designers, developers, quality engineers, and product managers to make our products easier to use.

* Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements, keep up to date with product status and feature enhancements * Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities * Create and maintain the information architecture * Create compelling content that helps users in developing expertise with the Kargo platform * Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides * Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications

**Minimum Qualifications** * BA/BS and 3+ years of experience writing and delivering compelling documentation for complex software * Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail * A technical background or a strong knack for quickly learning complex technical concepts * Excellent written skills in English * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Wordpress or similar CMS * Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development * Experience in Markdown, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other Web technologies * Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch * University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent * Experience with other digital content vehicles, such as video tutorials, webinars, podcasts, etc.
