Senior Network Engineer

Kabam, Inc. (“Kabam”) creates, develops, and publishes massively multiplayer games that are available to a global audience on mobile devices via its own dedicated channel in the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon Appstore.

You'll be part of the team that plans, builds, operates and scales the infrastructure that supports 24x7 operation of our games and our corporate infrastructure. We're looking for Network Engineers who are capable and excited about finding creative, efficient and effective solutions as we deploy new games, technologies and offices in new and expanding markets. You'll be involved in design, deployment and operation of our network infrastructure including automation for all Kabam datacenters and offices.

You are an experienced Network Engineer w/ 5+ years experience who can hit the ground running. You have the ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities. * Own the scoping, architecture and design of new robust and highly available network infrastructure, i.e. WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall, IDS, and IPS. * Continually support our internal infrastructure, games, and corporate network. * Drive continuous improvement and growth of the company with strong data , OSPF routing, and MPLS networks. * Maintain updated network documentation and diagrams and create SOP as needed. * Provide periodic metrics and KPI’s to management. * Work in a fun, casual gaming environment with bright, motivated and experienced people. **Education:** * C.S. Degree or Equivalent **Years Experience:** * Minimum 5+ years in Tech industry **Must have stack and Experience:** * 5+ years Network Engineering experience in a 24 x 7 global production systems environment * Experience with network operations data center best practices * Experience working with Palo Alto Networks firewalls * Very strong knowledge of CISCO networking systems and configurations including: network access control, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) * Experience with hardware and software load balancers (ie. A10, f5, HAProxy and KEMP) * TCP/IP Network Architecture and Design skills required * Knowledge of MPLS, OSPF, and BGP protocols * Knowledge of application flows, packet capture and analysis * Configuration and support for multi-site routing * Experience implementing TACACS+/RADIUS * Experience maximizing network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; and scheduling upgrades * Experience with WAN Optimization (e.g. Silver Peak and Riverbed) * Experience working under change management and SOX regulated environment * Possess a personality to think outside the box and question the status quo with a continuous system improvement mindset * Proven history of proactively taking ownership of projects and problems when they arise * Proven ability to successfully navigate and perform in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, and effectively multi-task multiple priorities in a team-oriented setting * Experience with design/planning software (e.g. Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project) * Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently on projects and cooperatively with the rest of the team * Desire to continue to develop skills with self-study and by attending vendor training/conferences as well as company provided courses * Valid passport and a willingness to occasionally travel to setup new sites **Pluses:** * CCNP Certification * Advanced programming or Unix/Linux scripting experience * Experience implementing and administering network monitoring system (e.g. Solarwinds) * Experience with Aruba Networks VPN * Experience implementing network configuration management system * Experience with Network Security, Intrusion detection and Intrusion prevention * VoIP experience and exposure * International procurement/support EU/AsiaPac
