Product Designer

Jumpcut is a content platform that teaches people how to succeed on social media. Our long term vision is to change the way people learn online.

You’re the lead for our design team. While you know basic Javascript and HTML/CSS, you are, first and foremost, a designer that produces high quality web apps. We expect you to be able to create a good design and convert it into a clickable prototype. You are obsessed with iterating on your creations, and you’re excited to work with our business and production teams on creating the next mainstream video app for the future.

* Design the UX/UI of our web apps * Define and formalize our company’s design process from idea generation to Photoshop deliverables and wireframe * Continuously design and improve our company’s color theme and icon packs * Train our graphic designers and frontend engineers with proper design techniques

**Minimum Requirements** * BS/BA in Arts, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or a closely relevant degree * 2 years of professional experience in designing web apps and mobile apps * Proficient with HTML/CSS as well as popular HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation etc. * Adept at prototyping with pencil and paper * Adept at prototyping with HTML/CSS * Has maintained a portfolio of the past web apps you have designed * Has kept an eye on the current design trends and best practices **Additional Requirements** * Masters in a Design Related Field * 4 years of professional experience in designing web apps * HTML/CSS mastery and deep experience with a HTML, CSS and JavaScript framework such as Bootstrap, Foundation etc.
