Summary
As a Market Research Senior Associate for Chase Freedom, you will provide strategic and decision support to senior management across all functions including customer product marketing, innovation and customer service. Research areas may include consumer behavior, new product development, segmentation, communications testing, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrates initiative in identifying key research needs, guides problem framing discussions with stakeholders, identifies research needs of our internal clients and determines the most effective and efficient way to meet these needs * Designs, manages, analyzes and reports on a variety of market research projects to provide management with information on customers, prospects, competitors, and new or existing services * Analyzes results, provides recommended actions, and assesses implications of research findings * Identifies interesting patterns in and across multiple data sets and through professional experience. Communicates insights to immediate stakeholders & peers * Effectively communicates to management and clients via presentations, reports and proposals * Ensures high quality deliverables are met in a timely manner * Manages activities of multiple suppliers towards the accomplishment of meaningful and timely results within the budget * Participates in special cross-functional teams requiring consumer research information
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6-8+ years experience in marketing research **Preferred Skills:** * Master's degree in Marketing Research a plus * Strong project management experience * Proven track record in driving insight to action * Must have worked on a good mix of quantitative and qualitative projects * Must have demonstrated ability to manage market research projects, worked closely with multiple internal clients and be results oriented * Must have the ability and drive to work in an intense, fast paced environment * Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential * Comfortable working independently in overseeing multiple market research studies and providing a strategic point of view * Solid analysis/statistical methodology skills * Competency in advanced research methods, processes, tools, design and techniques including sample criteria, quotas, weighting * Ability to think strategically about client issues
