Vice President of Finance

JPL is one of the Mid-Atlantic's largest full-service, integrated, marketing agencies. The firm provides strategic thinking and creative execution across a full range of services that include brand, digital, marketing, advertising, video production and internal communications.

Vice President, Finance is the executive leader responsible for the overall financial operations of the organization. The position requires a flexible and innovative leader who is passionate about JPL’s business and culture, can lead initiatives within the context of the company’s business plan and can meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth environment.

This position provides financial leadership to all functional areas, manages tax and audit compliance, manages all financial reporting and analysis, and serves as JPL’s liaison to banks, insurance companies, CPA firms and government agencies.

The VP, Finance serves as the financial leader and consultant as part of JPL’s executive team. He or she also manages a team that performs all accounting and project accounting functions for JPL and its subsidiary, d’Vinci Interactive.

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting and financial reporting in a professional services type business, including 3 years in a financial leadership role managing people.
• Knowledge and experience using integrated financial accounting software applications, system administration experience beneficial.
• Proven track record with financial forecasting, account reconciliation and analysis, and maintaining internal controls.
• Proven track record with cash management and cash flow forecasting.
• Risk management experience (legal, insurance).
• BS/BA in accounting or finance; CMA or CPA preferred.
