Android Application Developer

The Android Application Developer will be responsible for expanding our capabilities in the development of consumer Android applications.

**Core Responsibilities:** * Help define the Client software development strategy and architecture for our Mobile Engagement Platform * Work with Product Marketing/Management to define feature sets and delivery plan. * Develop architecture, design, quality, software, etc. for mobile applications. * Troubleshoot, debug and handle change requests. * Keep apprised of the state of the art in Mobile Development and apply it. **Deliverables:** * Mobile client development plans and schedules * Mobile client software architecture/design documents * Mobile client software from concept thru live operations and distribution * Quality plans for Mobile client software

**Core Technical Skills**: * Application environments: Android and JavaScript * Experience with threaded, networking and/or distributed applications * Working knowledge of HTML and XML, as well as graphics systems a plus * Experience with Source Code Control and Bug Tracking systems * Extensive experience in two or more of the following programming languages: Java, C++, C, Obj-C, Swift, JavaScript * Experience of iOS development a plus * Open source contribution a plus **Qualifications:** * BS/BE in Computer Science or related field * 5+ years experience designing and developing quality products and at least two years creating mobile applications for consumers * Experience in the mobile, embedded software development, and multi-platform environments * Experience leading tasks throughout the project lifecycle * Passionate to work in an exciting start-up environment – previous start-up experience a plus
