Summary
Babycenter is recruiting for a Director of Network Operations in San Francisco, CA. The Director of Network Operations will join our technical operations group and be responsible for building, managing, and maintaining the people and technology systems that make up one of the largest collections of online parenting resources. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical expert with solid technical skills in a variety of areas, including on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, Linux operating systems, virtualization, networking, security, and system automation.
Responsibilities
* Handle all aspects of website and service availability. M * anage a 4-person team of DevOps Engineers and System Administrators responsible for all aspects of on-premise and cloud technical environments. * Work with Engineering and Product teams to design and build infrastructure to support new products and systems. * Proactively scale existing infrastructure to continually increase capacity and support business goals. * Lead troubleshooting efforts and post-mortems with production and non-production systems, interfacing with development teams as necessary. * Instrument and monitor servers, databases, and network infrastructure for proper operation and performance tuning. * Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
