Social Services Clinician (PD) - Behavioral Health Center

The Social Services Clinician performs Social Service duties for assigned patients in the program. Responsibilities include regular liaison with members of the treatment team, discharge planning, aftercare follow-up and liaison with community agencies as needed. The Social Services Clinician conducts the psychosocial assessment for assigned patients. The Social Services Clinician provides family therapy if appropriate. The Social Services Clinician helps to coordinate and to provide family services. The Social Services Clinician facilitates or co-facilitates group therapy.

• Minimum requirement is a MSW (Masters in Social Work) or LCSW licensure.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or residential treatment facility preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR Certification (BLS) and proficiency are required at the time of hire.
• Must have computer skills for word processing, internet, and e-mail usage.
• Subject to background investigation, including fingerprinting, as required by the state licensing agency.
