Provides appropriate assessment, treatment groups and record keeping on all patients involved in Expressive Art Therapies program. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Represents specific specialization as well as Expressive Art Therapies Department as a whole within the clinical program.
- B.A. or M.A. degree as specified by training requirements in area of specialization.
- Must be currently registered (or registry eligible) with appropriate professional organization.
- Previous (one year) experience in an acute inpatient psychiatric facility, or chemical dependency setting.
- Demonstrates ability to adapt assessment and intervention skills according to patient's age and functioning level.
- Certification in BLS.
