Summary
An established manufacturing company, located just north of Pittsburgh, is seeking a contract SolidWorks Designer.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for creating custom 3D production drawings from customers’ models using SolidWorks software.
* Review data to confirm accuracy and/or make necessary changes to the models and drawings, prior to fabrication.
Ideal Candidate
* AS Degree in Drafting/Design with a minimum of 2 years of related 3D mechanical design experience
* Must be well-versed with SolidWorks software; AutoCAD experience is a plus, but not required
* Any sheet metal experience is preferred
* Must be comfortable working in both office and manufacturing settings
* Good computer skills, especially MS Word and Excel
