Responsibilities
* Inspect and test manufactured products for compliance with purchase orders, engineering drawings, engineering specifications, work instructions and Company quality standards. * Inspects products using measuring machines, including a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). * Inspects products using gauges, measuring machines, scales, and vision prior to shipment and with incoming materials. * Tests incoming raw materials. * Accurately records and reports inspection results in accordance with Company procedures. * Prepares and completes non-conformance and other department related reports for data collection. * Recommends changes and updates to quality policies and procedures in conjunction with the quality supervisor, production supervisor, machine shop supervisor, quality engineer, and others as appropriate. * Coordinates and collects gauges to be calibrated by gauge calibration service. * Accurately and completely enters inspection data into electronic databases and ERP system. * Understands and complies with established inspection sampling plans. * - See more at: http://jobs.jhtechnical.com/Quality-Inspector-Jobs-in-Ambridge-PA/3259221#sthash.GWfYaJEq.dpuf
Ideal Candidate
* HS Diploma and/or AS Degree and a minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment; any experience within the fluid power industry would be a plus * Must have experience using a CMM and other measuring equipment, i.e. micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc. * Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings, Bills of Material, and Bills of Operation as required * Must have excellent documentation and math skills * Knowledge of ERP software and MS Office is preferred * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis * - See more at: http://jobs.jhtechnical.com/Quality-Inspector-Jobs-in-Ambridge-PA/3259221#sthash.GWfYaJEq.dpuf
