Summary
Luxury Brand seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator in New York City.
Responsibilities
* Report in to the Controller to manage and review all invoices, check requests and expense reports * Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. * Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments. * Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks. * Prepare annual 1099 forms and perform any additional special projects
Ideal Candidate
* Must have 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience with a retail brand * Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is a huge plus! * Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task * Diplomatic with a positive can-do attitude and strong attention to detail * Strong level of verbal and written communication skills
