The Merchant Associate I, are responsible for researching and selecting top trend deals to drive sales and create a fun and unique shopping experience. We are looking for someone ambitious in nature, detail oriented, passionate about the retail industry, and team oriented.

* Researching past sales history to improve future deal success * Responding quickly and efficiently to vendor inquires * Calendar Management * Selecting suitable deals based on product, price, quality, and customer needs * Negotiating pricing and inventory efficiently with vendors * Establishing and maintaining strong vendor relationships and collaborating to improve product offering * Stay up to date on evolving trends, new products and competition * Discover new product and brands that support customer demands * Reviewing incoming samples of product to ensure quality standards are met * Preparing team presentations * Participating and contributing in weekly team meetings * Strategically merchandising products on a daily basis to ensure product offering is balanced and fits team objectives. * Analyzing data to determine seasonal selling trends * Managing small projects on your own and reporting results to team lead

* Must possess strong communication & negotiating skills, both written and verbal * Previous buying experience in e-commerce retail and fashion * Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively * Contributes to and works well within a team * Commercial awareness * Microsoft Office skills-Type 65 wpm * Passion for fashion!
