Summary
JAMF Software is seeking a skilled OS X / iOS developer to join our engineering practice. The focus of this role is on Cocoa applications and components written in Swift and Objective-C. As a software developer you will be a member of a team that is driving the continual evolution of our core product suite. We help customers be successful with the Apple platform, which drives us to support the latest innovations by Apple and constantly expand device management capabilities. We work in a highly collaborative agile environment. We value individual self direction and teams that self organize.
Responsibilities
* Develop new and improve existing applications on both the OS X and iOS platforms * Use agile development and testing methodologies to ensure ongoing high quality code and timely feature turnaround * Collaborate closely with: * Other developers to continually improve our engineering skill level * QA, automation, dev ops, product management, architects, and other players in the organization to define and build customer impacting features * The broader JAMF Software organization to better understand Apple technologies and the challenges our customers face
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrable experience developing software in Objective-C and/or Swift * Knowledge of professional software development practices * General knowledge of enterprise level system administration workflows * Experience working in an agile team environment * Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test driven development practices * Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills * Demonstrable desire to learn and continuously improve yourself, your team, and your organization **Education:** * B.S. degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or Associate Degree in Software Development plus 3 or more years of experience
