Creative Services Production Artist

James Avery Jewelry offers high quality, artfully crafted jewelry in sterling silver, gold and gemstones.

The Production Artist supports the Design and Production teams’ print and digital projects, including site, email, catalog, direct mail, and retail. Should be adept to using software applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Scene7 environment – including Image Authoring, able to code HTML and CSS.

• Using original solutions from designers, develop web-based creative assets such as emails, banner ads, website graphics, social media graphics and other online materials needed.
• Produce final press-ready and web-optimized files.
• Edit, retouch, enhance and color-balance digital images.
• Prepare all completed, project documents for archiving.
• Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field; or at least 5 years' experience as production artist/designer in an agency or corporate environment.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Proficiency in Adobe Scene7 environment including Image Authoring, HTML and CSS coding.
• Excellent organization skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on tight deadlines.
• The ability to consistently maintain a driving record that is consistent with company insurance requirements will be necessary.
