Network Administrator (Monitoring and Dashboarding)

If so, you may be a fit for the JHA Internet Solutions ASP Operations team. We are searching for a candidate to advance the capabilities of our monitoring platform and translate operational data into Business and Operating Intelligence. The successful candidate will join a high performing Operations team that manages a 24/7 online financial application used by millions of people on a daily basis. Some on-call and off-hours work will be required, though we do strongly believe in work/life balance. Do you have a strong knowledge of system and application Monitoring but want to do more than “just monitor things”? Do you enjoy analyzing data and providing unique insights at the business-level?

• Further develop the monitoring solutions in Internet Solutions
• Develop dashboards and reports to share meaningful business-level information with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (Tier 1 Support through Executive audiences)
• Integrate multiple data feeds of monitoring information and develop “single-pane of glass”
• Optimize alerting rules & thresholds
• Assist in developing orchestration capabilities to automate self-healing and recovery of application and infrastructure health as a response to monitoring intelligence
• Develop “single-pane-of-glass” capability for monitoring solutions
• Assist in developing automation and self-healing capabilities in application infrastructure through monitoring tuning and event generation rule-sets
• Integrate BU monitoring with other corporate monitoring capabilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years with one or more IT monitoring solutions
• 2 years of demonstrated experience generating Business-facing dashboards and/or reporting
• 5 years of experience in systems/network administration
• Able to work extended/flexible hours as business needs dictate

Preferred Skills:

• Applicable industry standard certification(s)
• Strong candidates are expected to have advanced monitoring knowledge in at least one of the following products: SCOM, AppDynamics, Extrahop, Splunk/ELK
